How it works.
Leafpack lets you swap ETH for real stocks in four steps. You never send money to us — everything happens between your wallet and Robinhood Chain.
Get a wallet with ETH
Use MetaMask, Phantom or Rabby and add some ETH — either on Robinhood Chain or normal ETH on Ethereum (Leafpack bridges it for you). Keep a little ETH for gas — fees are tiny. Leafpack switches your wallet to Robinhood Chain for you.
Connect it
Tap Connect wallet at the top. Leafpack can only see your address and balances — it can never move funds without your approval.
Pick a stock
Choose Apple, NVIDIA, Tesla or one of 50+ others, and enter how much crypto to spend. You see the exact amount you’ll get before you swap.
Approve — it’s yours
Approve the swap in your wallet. A few seconds later the stock token is in your wallet, and you can sell it back any time.
Questions
What exactly do I get?
You get a Robinhood Stock Token — for example AAPL for Apple. It’s a token on Robinhood Chain, issued by Robinhood, and its price tracks the real stock.
Is it the same as owning the share at a broker?
Not quite. You own a token that tracks the share, not the share itself, so you don’t get voting rights. It lives in your own wallet, and you can sell it back to ETH at any time.
Who holds my money?
You do. Leafpack is only a website — swaps are routed by LI.FI across DEXs on Robinhood Chain, like Uniswap, directly from your wallet and back into it. We never hold your ETH or your stocks.
What does it cost?
Leafpack adds no fee of its own. The swap router (LI.FI) takes a small fee — about 0.25% — and Robinhood Chain charges a tiny gas fee, usually under a cent. You see all of it before you approve.
When can I trade?
Any time — 24/7. When the US stock market is closed, prices can move a little more than usual.
How do I sell?
Go to Swap, press the arrow to switch to Sell, pick the stock and swap it back to ETH. The first time you sell a stock, your wallet asks you to approve it once.
Who can use it?
Robinhood Stock Tokens aren’t available in every country. It’s your responsibility to check that they’re allowed where you live. Nothing on Leafpack is investment advice, and stock prices can go down as well as up.
